To prevent the further spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the State Guest House, Akasaka Palace, is encouraging all visitors to wash their hands thoroughly and has put in place alcohol-based hand sanitizers. Furthermore, the Government of Japan as a whole has requested members of the public with cold-like symptoms to refrain from leaving the house so as to prevent the spread of the virus. We therefore request that those with cold-like symptoms wishing to visit the State Guest House consider postponing their visit for the time being.
