Opening Information

*Self-guided tours are currently unavailable.
Self-Guided Tour Explore the open areas on the premises without the assistance of a guide.
– Audio and text guides in English, Chinese, Korean, French, and Spanish are available on our official app. For those without devices, we provide tablets free of charge during the tour.

Eligible person Ages 13 and above
Admission Fee Adults: 1,500 yen, University Students: 1,000 yen, Middle/High School Students (Ages 13-18): 500 yen
* Eligible students must present a valid ID on the day of visit to receive the student discount.
Entry Please come to the Seiwain Rest House for admission on a first-come, first-served basis.

Walk-in Admission

For the self-guided tour, admission is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. (Same-day entry slips specifying a time slot will no longer be distributed.)

  • Please be advised that there may be a wait for entry depending on the crowd.
  • There tends to be some initial crowding right after opening. We recommend considering a visit during quieter times for a more comfortable experience.


Advance reservation for Groups

Advance reservations are no longer necessary for groups of 19 or fewer individuals. To enter, please come to the Seiwain Rest House on the day of your visit.

Apply to make your visit

“Online reservation procedure”

1) Click on the “Apply to make your visit” button on the “Public Opening Schedule” page and select “Agree” for the use of cookies in the pop-up window to proceed to the reservation page.
2) Select the course in which you wish to participate.
3) Select the date on the calendar.
4) Select the time.
5) Place a check mark for “I agree with all the notes above” after reading the “Notes for application of the public opening” page carefully, and click on the “Confirmation” button to go to the next page.
6) By placing a check mark after reading the notes inside the red box on the “Application form” page, you will be able to enter text. Fill in your information correctly and click on the “Next” button.
7) Reconfirm the information you have entered on the “Confirmation of application” page and click on the “Execute application” button to complete your reservation.
8) Confirmation email will be sent to the email address you have registered.
*You will be asked to provide the date of birth and email address you used upon registration when canceling or modifying your reservation online. Any incorrect input during registration will hinder your access to our reservation system. Please double-check the information you provide to avoid any issues later on.

  • – To cancel or modify your reservation, please click on the “Cancel/change the application” button at the bottom of the “Selection the application course” page.
  • – For guided tours that have not reached capacity through advance reservations, same-day tickets are available at the Seiwain Rest House on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cautionary Notes

  • When it is crowded, those who made advance reservations will be preferentially admitted.
  • In the event of receiving distinguished guests at short notice, the scheduled public opening may be suddenly cancelled; please check the latest Public Opening Schedule before your visit. We will announce a change of the schedule on Twitter as well.
