Kyoto State Guest House is delighted to offer premium guided tours for small groups on the following dates.
These tours include the regular guided exploration of the open areas, plus exclusive access to two additional rooms that are usually closed to the public: Taki-no-Ma, where distinguished guests dine in a private setting, and Suimei-no-Ma, where summit meetings take place. In Taki-no-Ma, you can enjoy an exclusive seated viewing experience. The dynamic sound of the waterfall resonating in the stillness of winter will bring crispness to your mind.
Discover the unique charm of Kyoto State Guest House through these special guided tours designed to offer a truly exceptional experience.

*The premium guided tours will be conducted in Japanese.
*Tablets with audio and text guides in English, Chinese, Korean, French, and Spanish are available free of charge during the tour.

January 18, 2025 (Saturday) – January 21, 2025 (Tuesday)
Times ①9:00 AM – 10:50 AM ②11:00 AM – 12:50 PM ③1:00 PM – 2:50 PM ④3:00 PM – 4:50 PM
Viewing Areas Main Entrance, Juraku-no-Ma (anteroom), Yubae-no-Ma (large conference room), Fuji-no-Ma (banquet hall), Kiri-no-Ma (Japanese-style banquet room), Taki-no-Ma (Japanese-style room with a waterfall view), Suimei-no-Ma (high-level conference room), Roofed Bridge, and more.
Capacity 30 participants per tour
Admission Fees Adults:5,000 yen, University Students:3,500 yen, Middle/High School Students (Ages 13+):1,500 yen
* Children aged 12 or younger will not be admitted.
* Eligible students must present a valid student ID on the day of their visit to receive the student discount.

How to Book

Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis via our Public Opening Reservation System until 12:00 PM the day before each tour.

– Reservations for December open on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
– Reservations for January open on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

*Same-day entry slips for guided tours that have not reached capacity through advance reservations will be available at the Seiwain Rest House for those without reservations.
*Please refrain from making tentative reservations or last-minute cancellations for groups of 10 or more.

Important Notes

・Visitors showing symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, or severe fatigue will not be permitted to join the tour.
・Our staff will be wearing masks. We appreciate your understanding.
