Located in Kyoto, a city that symbolizes the history and culture of Japan, the Kyoto State Guest House is a facility to welcome foreign dignitaries, and to deepen friendships with and understanding of Japan across many dimensions, including historically and culturally.
Together with the State Guest House, Akasaka Palace in Tokyo, the State Guest House serves as a reception space for honored state guests.
