About the Autumn Garden Café of the State Guest House, Akasaka Palace
 The Autumn Garden Café of the State Guest House, Akasaka Palace, will be opened from Friday, September 20 to Monday, September 23 (National Holiday), 2019.
Coffee and alcoholic beverages will be served in the Front Garden for the Autumn Garden Café. A daily specials menu and a variety of snacks such as cheeses will also be available. (Last orders: 30 minutes before closing)
The State Guest House, Akasaka Palace will be opened during the night time from Friday, September 20 to Sunday, September 22, with opening hours extended till 8:00 p.m. The Main Building will also be lit up from 6:00 p.m. every day.

Open at nights from Friday, September 20 to Sunday, September 22
Opening hours 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Last admissions at 7:00 p.m. Last admissions at 7:30 p.m. for visitors who wish to enter only the garden.)
10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 23 (National Holiday) (Last admissions at 4:00 p.m. Last admissions at 4:30 p.m. for visitors who wish to enter only the garden.)
Admission Fees [Main Building & Garden]
Adults: 1,500 yen, University Students: 1,000 yen, Junior & Senior High School Students: 500 yen, Children: Free

[Main Building, Garden & Japanese-Style Annex]
Adults: 2,000 yen, University Students: 1,500 yen, Junior & Senior High School Students: 700 yen *Children of elementary school-age and under may not visit with this plan

[Japanese-Style Annex & Garden]
Adults: 1,500 yen, University Students: 1,000 yen, Junior & Senior High School Students: 500 yen *Children of elementary school-age and under may not visit with this plan
*Visitors may choose whether to visit the main building at the time of payment on the day of their visit.

[Garden] Adults: 300 yen, University Students & under: Free

*University and senior high school students are required to present their students’ handbook or student passes.

*The State Guest House accepts cash payments only.
How to Visit [Main Building & Garden]
Tickets are available at the door or by advance reservation.
1. Tickets at the Door
Please come to the west gate of the State Guest House on the day of the visit.
2. Advance Reservation
The place can be visited by purchasing tickets on the day of the visit, but advance reservation is also available.
(1) Application period: Advance reservations are accepted from Thursday, July 25, 2019.

(2) The Number of People Allowed to Apply:
Groups of 20 – 50 people
*Groups with 19 people or less: please come to the west gate of the State Guest House on the day of the visit.

(3) Admission hours:
Individual (Group)  Hourly between 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. (Up to 100 people in each time slot)

Corporate (Group)  Every 30 minutes between 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (Up to 600 people in each time slot)

(4) Applicant Selection: A draw will be held after the closing of each application time frame and admission permits will be e-mailed to the selected applicants from 8 a.m. the next day. Those not selected in the draw will also receive a notification.
If the number of applications does not reach the capacity or cancellations occur after the closing of each application time frame, visitors will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.

Advance Reservation
(1) Application period: Advance reservations are accepted from Thursday, July 25, 2019.
(2) Number of people who can apply: From one to four persons
(3) Admission hours: Every 30 minutes between 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Up to 20 people in each time slot)
(4) Applicant Selection: A draw will be held after the closing of each application time frame and admission permits will be e-mailed to the selected applicants from 8 a.m. the next day. Those not selected in the draw will also receive a notification.
If the number of applications does not reach the capacity or cancellations occur after the closing of each application time frame, visitors will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
*Tickets cannot be purchased on the day of the visit.
*Reservation must also be made for any accompanying persons.
*Visitors may choose whether to visit the main building at the time of payment on the day of their visit.


[Garden (Main Garden & Front Garden)]
Open to all visitors without advanced reservation. (for a fee)
Light-up The Main Building will be lit up after sunset (about 6:00 p.m.) from Friday, September 20 to Sunday, September 22.
*Admission into the Main Garden is not permitted after sunset.
Visitor Rules ○In the event of receiving official state guests, and for other administrative reasons of the State Guest House, the scheduled public opening may be canceled. In that case, we promptly announce it on our website.
○We carry out a security metal detector and baggage inspection at the time of entry.
〇Taking photos inside the building is prohibited. Although taking photographs of outside is allowed, bringing in a large commercial camera, tripod or stepladder and so on are prohibited.
